About Exhale Healthy Coffee
Exhale Coffee was born from co-founder Al Higham’s three greatest obsessions: coffee, health, and fitness.
The turning point occurred during a life-altering surfing accident in Bali. After being patched up by a local healer, Al wandered into a speciality coffee shop in Seminyak. Blown away by the baristas' craft and the delicious single-origin brews, he suddenly realised coffee could be both a comforting daily ritual and a performance-enhancing elixir.
When the 2020 lockdown hit, Al and his partner Kirsty turned adversity into opportunity. They launched Exhale from their central London kitchen, roasting beans in their garden shed and delivering fresh batches across the capital on Kirsty's butterscotch Dutch bike.
Today, Exhale is on a mission to cut through the overcomplicated wellness industry. Instead of adding fad superfoods, they rigorously test and roast their organic beans to lock in naturally occurring antioxidants and polyphenols. It’s an unpretentious approach to wellness, perfectly crafted to fuel early morning runs, outdoor adventures, and busy, healthy lifestyles.
