Currant jam is deliciously fruity, vegan, gluten-free and contains no added sugar. It is characterised by its natural composition, valuable nutritional properties and, thanks to the carefully fried fruit, we have achieved a perfect texture and excellent taste.
Currant jam with chia seeds, which belong to Superfoods, is a unique combination that is versatile and simply delicious for both small and large gourmets. Great for breakfast, a mid-day snack or a fruity dinner. It is 100% natural ingredients, with no harmful additives, artificial substances or preservatives.
The compounds contained in blackcurrant fruit exhibit multidirectional supporting properties including: antibacterial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Studies also indicate a high content of soluble fibre, supporting the digestive system and often also weight loss. Blackcurrant is a source of vitamin C and B vitamins. Blackcurrants also contain pro-vitamin A, vitamin E, potassium, magnesium, zinc and calcium. Red currants are similarly rich in vitamins (A, C, E and K) and trace elements (magnesium, potassium, calcium, iron). The fruit is also a valuable source of fibre and a very valuable antioxidant for the body.
Chia seeds are renowned for their exceptional nutritional content, their beneficial effects on the entire body and their pleasant nutty taste. Their composition includes alpha-linolenic acid, magnesium, iron, potassium, phosphorus, calcium and a large number of antioxidant compounds.
